From laptops to electric scooter: Acer to launch Muvi 125 4G EV in India at Rs 99,999

The electric scooter which has been designed and manufactured by eBikeGo, will be called the Acer MUVI 125 4G. Acer has provided a license to eBikeGo to use their trademark for the electric scooter. The Acer MUVI 125 4G and will be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 99,999.

Taiwanese tech brand Acer, globally known for building tech products, will soon indirectly enter the Indian EV market in partnership with homegrown startup, eBikeGo. The electric scooter which has been designed and manufactured by eBikeGo, will be called the Acer MUVI 125 4G. Acer has provided a brand license to eBikeGo to use their trademark for this product.

The Acer MUVI 125 4G and will be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 99,999 and will also qualify for the Central and State government subsidies in a bid to promote sales and overall EV adoption in the country.

Acer MUVI 125 4G: The MUVI 125 4G electric scooter will have a claimed range of 80 km and a top speed of 75 kmph. Its key features include a swappable battery powertrain for hassle-free charging, a lightweight chassis, 16-inch wheels, customisable design features and connected tech. Acer also announced that the scooter will get easy-to-replace accessories and a low maintenance cost to make it more affordable to run in the long term.

In the near future, they plan to introduce multiple 2 and 3-wheeler EVs, such as e-bicycles, e-bikes, e-trikes, etc.
